After booking your consultation, you'll get a link to access your online video consultation or you will receive a call from one of our doctors (phone consultation).Â
What can you expect? Who is it for?
The pre-travel health consultation is recommended for those who will travel to countries that require adequate or compulsory vaccination - Africa, Central / South / South East Asia, Central / South America.
In this consultation you will be informed about preventive (or curative) measures to adopt before, during and after your trip, depending on the destination, the trip and who you are travelling with.
These include:
- Vaccination or preventive medication against multiple low-risk or non-existent diseases in Europe.
- Prescription of PCR tests when necessary.
- Information on personal hygiene and care with water and food.
- The advice and electronic prescription that you can or should take with you.
- Information on medical assistance, accident and safety risks or other in the destinations you are travelling to.
- These consultations are extremely important for healthy travellers and in particular for pregnant women, children, the elderly and individuals with chronic diseases.
What's included?
- A consultation with the doctor to discuss the details of your trip
- Advice on the kind of vaccines you might require
- Written advice on malaria protection tablets, if they are required, including side-effects, cost and when and how to take them
- A prescription for malaria protection tablets, if they are needed
- A prescription for some 'standby' (or first aid) medicines, in case you need them
- A 'Staying Well While Abroad' advice booklet to take away with you
- A completed vaccine record booklet (that includes a Yellow Fever Certificate, if needed)
- The vaccinations you require
- Our contact details, so that you can e-mail the doctor you saw at our clinic for health advice if you are having health problems while abroad
- Answers to any questions you might have

there was a long wait in the waiting room, but that fine as im video calling from home anyways. once the doctor answered he was very pleasant, understood what i was looking for and gave me the prescription with some additional supplements i could try.

Very efficient and very knowledgeable doctor. She assessed my daughter quickly and called in a prescription. We were visiting from the US and we're headed to Italy the next day so did not have time for an office visit. The video quality was very good and audio was also good.
