Endocrinology is the medical speciality which analyses and treats problems related to hormones and the organs which produce them – the so-called endocrine glands.

- Related to parathyroids (glands that regulate phosphorus, calcium and vitamin D metabolism);

- Dyslipidaemia (excess of fats in the blood – cholesterol and triglycerides)
- Excess body hair in women
- Polycysticovaries;
- adrenal diseases (nodules – hormone-producing or not – Addison’s disease, congenital hyperplasias, the most common genetic disease)
- Acromegaly, Cushing ‘s disease and diseases of the pituitary gland (nodules producing several hormones or non-functioning);
- Problems of growth, development and puberty.

there was a long wait in the waiting room, but that fine as im video calling from home anyways. once the doctor answered he was very pleasant, understood what i was looking for and gave me the prescription with some additional supplements i could try.

Very efficient and very knowledgeable doctor. She assessed my daughter quickly and called in a prescription. We were visiting from the US and we’re headed to Italy the next day so did not have time for an office visit. The video quality was very good and audio was also good.
