A Consulta de Hipertensão visa o despiste de Hipertensão secundária, a caracterização de perfis hipertensivos e a avaliação de repercussões em órgão alvo, identificação de fatores de risco associados ao estilo de vida e terapêutica, a avaliação e tratamento da hipertensão arterial. É aconselhada para:
- Identificar factores a corrigir no estilo de vida: excessos alimentares, excesso de peso, sedentarismo, tabagismo, entre outros;
- Estabelecer um plano terapêutico inicial e optimizá-lo ao longo do tempo.
- Identificar factores de risco cardiovascular.
- Identificar lesão em órgãos-alvo.
- Vigiar, aconselhar e educar o doente com Hipertensão Arterial.

Before the appointment you should have recent blood pressure readings with you. If you have no record of blood pressure values you may go to a health centre for a blood pressure measurement.

there was a long wait in the waiting room, but that fine as im video calling from home anyways. once the doctor answered he was very pleasant, understood what i was looking for and gave me the prescription with some additional supplements i could try.

Very efficient and very knowledgeable doctor. She assessed my daughter quickly and called in a prescription. We were visiting from the US and we’re headed to Italy the next day so did not have time for an office visit. The video quality was very good and audio was also good.
