It is a chronic condition of the skin which can cause inflammation and redness on the cheeks, chin, forehead and nose. You may start to see blood vessels, red bumps and spots appear on the skin. It is best to try and identify your triggers for Rosacea to work out the changes you may need to make to reduce the effects of your symptoms. This can be reducing your stress level, keeping a food diary to see if certain food groups cause your condition to worsen and also to avoid direct sunlight and wear SPF on your skin if you are exposed to the sun.

It can occur at any age, but it is more common for those between the ages of 30-50 to start developing symptoms of Rosacea. Both men and women can be affected.

Although rosacea and eczema may share some symptoms, they are entirely different conditions with no connection. They both require different treatments depending on whether you have eczema or rosacea.
